Today's Daily Inspiration with Denine - Card

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Denine of A Day with a Paper Addict here to share a card with you.

Today is our adorable Saundra's typical day, but she is having some issues with the internet, poor thing!

Can you imagine life without the internet or our smart phones or any of those gadgets that keeps us connected ALL DAY!  lol  I think I would call that a VACATION!

Anyhow, I tried to put together a 'Saundra' worthy project today and this is what I came up with.

I am a paper addict, so most of the time I just like to layer papers.  No stamps on this one.

I used Stella & Rose Little Lady Posies with Indie Chic Citron Time Honeydew and LOVED IT!  They work great together picking up the colors of both collections.

For the card base I used the Bazzill Bon Bon Criss Cross paper.  Another of my 'go to' papers for layering and bases.  Then I used the word stickers from The Sweetest Thing - Honey Perfect.  As soon as I saw this sticker... "What A Day"... i knew that was it.  Then I found this cute little mini clothes pin in my stash and put some Washi Tape from Indie Chic over just the top. Wrapped the card with some white crinkle ribbon.  Oh and I distressed the edges with a pair scissors.

Here is the inside:

and the coordinating sticker to finish it off the sentiment.

Here is a close up of the clothes pin with the washi tape over the top.  Perfect match to the orange in the Stella & Rose paper.

There is still one more day to link up to the Saturday Challenge - Green and 4 of something.  We love to visit your blogs and see the projects you post, so come join in the fun.

Have a wonderful day playing with paper.

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Heather - Card

Good morning! Heather here from Houses Built of Cards to share some SPS inspiration with you. Today I decided to pull out some product from one of my favorite paper companies - Crate Paper. Here is what I made:
The paper and die cut embellishments came from Crate Paper's Pretty Party collection.
My pattern papers are from the 6x6 paper pad - I layered them up, and used an edge punch on the brown wood grain paper before attaching it behind the gingham strip.
The flowers (aren't they GORGEOUS?) are from the die cut elements sheet, as well as the tiny sentiment. I attached the flowers with foam adhesive, punched a hole in the little sentiment piece, then tied it on with some jute twine, anchoring it in place with a pop-dot.
Finished by rounding a couple of corners, then attached the entire front panel with foam adhesive to the card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you are having a beautiful week!

Today's Daily SPS Inspiration with Carissa - Card

It's so wonderful to see you again crafty friends.

Today is my day to post on the Pumpkin Spice Blog. I am happy to share with you a set of cards I created using the October Afternoon "Cakewalk" 8x8 paper pad. The quality of this paper is just amazing. And I love how the papers are loose, so you can move them around to see how they go together.

When I started looking through these paper I immediately thought of my grandma. These papers are just her style; vintage with a hint of whimsy and pastel colors. So I decided to make her this set of cards. The die cuts are from "A Child's Year" Cricut cartridge. Each image reminds me of something I would have done at my grandma's house ages ago.

Each of the cards measure 4x4.

In these cards I used twine as an embellishment.
All of the layers of paper are popped up with dimensional tape.
It looks really neat in person.

Here I used enamel dots as my embellishments.
These die cuts really hit home. We would play dress-up and rocking horse all the time!!

And of course, my new obsession...
...making matching envelopes with everything.
Here I made kraft envelopes and used scraps of patterned paper on the edge.
